I bought this scale about 3 weeks ago and it's already made a world of difference in how I view my food portions. My reason for buying it is to help me with my diet where I'm supposed to weigh out my food. I never realized before just how much I was overeating, even though I used to read the nutrition labels and serving sizes, I guess I just didn't realize the difference between a measuring cup and an actual scale. br /br /I have absolutely no complaints about this product. I had fun the first day I bought it just measuring random things around the house (note: even though the scale goes up to 11lbs, don't try to weigh your cat on it. Trust, me it won't work. I blame the cat, though, not the scale)br /br /It's amazingly easy to use, it resets to 0/tares in no time at all, and it takes a little while to auto-shutoff so I have plenty of time to grab whatever items I need to add in. Normally I use a bowl to weigh everything out, but it does fit smaller plates as well while still being able to see the screen. Large plates, not so much without having to crane your neck at a weird angle, but that's not a big deal to me.br /br /It looks sleek in the kitchen without taking up a lot of space. It's light and small enough that I can stash it wherever I need to if I need more counter space. I've got a couple of friends ready to start their own diets and I have wholeheartedly recommended this scale to them. There's a reason it's at the top of the Amazon list!
